Brittany Mahomes has become well-known for her ability to tease fans of opposing teams during her husband Patrick Mahomes’ NFL career. Despite being controversial among fans, she continues to enjoy Kansas City Chiefs’ wins.
During a recent game, Brittany shared photos of her outfit while watching the Chiefs secure a narrow 30-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium. Her caption referenced Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak’s confident prediction that his team would win.
’We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game,’
At halftime, the Raiders led 13-10. Kubiak expressed confidence in the team’s chances during his halftime interview with CBS’ Tracy Wolfson.
Patrick Mahomes, however, orchestrated a comeback in the final quarter, leading three touchdown drives and outscoring the Raiders 20-14. With just over three minutes remaining, Mahomes connected with Tyquan Thornton for a critical 55-yard pass, followed by Kenneth Walker scoring a touchdown. Despite Thornton’s injury, the Chiefs maintained momentum.
On the following kickoff, the Raiders fumbled, allowing Walker to score again. Although the Raiders managed to close the gap with a 20-yard touchdown from Kirk Cousins to Brock Bowers, a subsequent interception on Cousins’ part sealed their fate.
The Chiefs improved their record to 4-0, while the Raiders experienced their first loss of the season, dropping to 3-1. Patrick Mahomes reflected on the game, emphasizing the importance of perseverance.
I think you have to stay with it. It’s not always going to be a high-scoring affair, but trusting the process yields results.
