Rachel Dratch: Finding Success on Stage and Beyond

Rachel Dratch is gaining attention for her recent achievements. Her popular podcast delves into supernatural topics like ghosts and astral projection. Titled “Woo Woo,” her podcast has sparked curiosity about Dratch’s personal connection to these mystical themes. She clarifies, “I think it tips me into talking about a lot of this kooky stuff, and I’m not all about kooky stuff. I guess it can come off that way, but I don’t care.”

Dratch’s 2012 memoir, “Girl Walks Into a Bar …,” included remarkable experiences that fans remember vividly. Among them were prophetic dreams and a meeting with a channeler named Kendra. On Dratch’s 43rd birthday, Kendra foretold motherhood in her future. The following year, Dratch welcomed her son, Eli.

At 60, Dratch fulfilled another dream from her memoir: starring in a Broadway comedy. She played Stephanie in “POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive.” This brought Dratch back to the Broadway stage in a revival of Richard O’Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show.” Her performance as the Narrator received considerable acclaim, earning her Tony nominations for both roles.

Dratch expressed that some were taken aback by her return to stage performances. However, she shared, “that’s actually where I started out.” Her recent achievements highlight a successful turn in her career, bringing her recognition in both theater and her podcast endeavors.
