Dwayne Johnson Pays Tribute to AEW Star Benjamin Satterley

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson expressed deep condolences to the family of Benjamin Satterley following the AEW star’s passing at the age of 40. Known in WWE as Adrian Neville and in AEW as Pac, Satterley made significant contributions to professional wrestling, having joined AEW in 2019 and won various championships in both AEW and WWE.

In a video posted on Instagram, Johnson conveyed his sympathies to the Satterley family. He emphasized the global nature of professional wrestling and spoke of the community’s tight-knit bonds.

I was just so sorry to hear this news. As global as professional wrestling is, as global as WWE is, as much as AEW is growing into this phenomenal wrestling company, and wherever you’re wrestling at around the world, Asia, Latin America, Europe, it doesn’t matter. As global as professional wrestling is, we’re still a very tight-knit unit and a tight-knit group because we all share the same DNA. And that is our love and our passion for the squared circle and to perform for audiences around the world. And we’re a little crazy, and that’s OK. But when we lose one of our own, it hurts. And when they’re young and so insanely talented, it really hurts.

Johnson also reached out to AEW owner Tony Khan, wrestler QT Marshall, and the AEW locker room to share his condolences.

Before ‘Monday Night Raw,’ WWE honored Satterley with a tribute graphic. AEW announced plans for a tribute during ‘Dynamite’ to remember Satterley’s contributions to wrestling.

Satterley, who was last seen performing at the All Out event, was found deceased in Illinois. His career, marked by skill and passion, left a lasting impact on fans and fellow wrestlers.
