Regarding voting and election procedures, opinions remain stable. Many support requiring photo ID to vote and prefer states to control election operations rather than the Trump administration. Generally, more voters favor Democrats gaining control of Congress. This preference is typical for the party out of the White House in midterms, but as elections near, voter preferences may shift.
