Senator Fetterman Criticizes Maine Senate Candidate Graham Platner

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania voiced strong criticism against Maine Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner. Speaking in Washington, D.C., Fetterman expressed his disdain after reports surfaced about Platner’s actions last weekend. According to these reports, Platner had sent explicit messages to at least six women while being married. He also maintained an active profile on Kik, a platform known for lax identification controls and issues with child sexual abuse material.

“What kind of individual spends years on a platform like Kik, sending numerous explicit messages and possibly more?” Fetterman questioned during an interview with CNN.

Fetterman also referred to Platner as “P-Hustle,” highlighting his controversial past on Reddit. Platner’s Reddit account included comments that minimized sexual assault, made inappropriate claims about public masturbation, and derogatory remarks about a wounded soldier.

The Pennsylvania senator also commented on Platner’s past controversy regarding a tattoo resembling a Nazi symbol. Platner had kept the tattoo uncovered for 18 years before covering it up. “If someone displays a clear Nazi tattoo, it could indicate sympathy toward Nazi ideologies,” Fetterman stated, challenging others to consider this seriously.

While critical of Platner, Fetterman did not endorse Platner’s likely Republican opponent, Maine Senator Susan Collins, but mentioned the necessity of collaboration if Platner wins.

Fetterman criticized fellow Democrats for their silence on Platner’s scandals. He compared it to past situations where Democrats supported controversial figures like Eric Swalwell. “I’m not supporting someone who acts this way,” Fetterman asserted.

Fox News reached out to Platner’s campaign for a response. Meanwhile, the controversy continues, drawing attention to Platner’s actions and past statements.
