Jacy Jayne, the Women’s United States champion, is set to participate in her first Money in the Bank ladder match. She aims to secure the briefcase and a world title opportunity. While Jayne keeps her strategy close to her chest, she hinted at her preparedness and knowledge of her competition.
During her interaction with OutKick Dropkick, Jayne stated, “I definitely have a strategy. I’m not going to tell you what it is. You gotta watch the match to find out. But I know all the girls in this match very well. I’ve been working with them for years.”
She shared her intention to be “JC in the Bank” by studying her opponents’ moves carefully.
Although the current women’s world champion is Stephanie Vaquer and Chelsea Green holds the WWE women’s championship, Jayne has her sights set on challenging anyone in her way. “Everyone’s a target. I want to keep everyone’s head on a swivel,” she explained. Jayne has plans to use the briefcase to keep her opponents wary and guessing about her next move.
Previously, Jayne held the NXT women’s championship. Her confidence in moving to the main roster was clear as she explained her readiness for a bigger stage. In April, Jayne, alongside Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, made their debuts on SmackDown. “When you believe in yourself, you can accomplish crazy things,” she commented on her journey to the main roster.
Her triumph against Tiffany Stratton secured her the women’s U.S. title, with her Fatal Influence teammates Henley and Reid later winning tag team titles. Jayne expressed her pride in their achievements. “I felt like a proud mom watching her win the title,” she said, reflecting on Lainey Reid’s success.
Jayne will face Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend, and Tiffany Stratton in the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match. The winner will become an immediate contender for the world title.
