Russian Strike on Ukrainian City Highlights Increasing Civilian Targeting

At least 30 people lost their lives and 18 suffered injuries when a Russian glide bomb struck a bus stop in Kramatorsk, an eastern Ukrainian city, on Thursday. This incident was reported by the State Emergency Service.

The strike reflects a growing trend of Russian attacks on civilian areas in Ukraine. Moscow appears to be intensifying efforts to breach Ukraine’s “fortress belt,” a significant obstacle in Vladimir Putin’s attempts to control the entire Donbas region.
