Dominik Mysterio’s Dual Role at Triplemania 34

Dominik Mysterio is set to showcase his versatility at Triplemania 34. As the reigning AAA Mega Champion, he played a key role in the corner of Omos during the latter’s victory over Rey Mysterio on Night 1 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. On the following night, Mysterio will defend his championship title against El Grande Americano.

Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh recently made their entrance during Monday Night Raw at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Mysterio has emerged as a prominent figure in pro wrestling, gaining recognition both in WWE and AAA circuits. Despite not dominating ‘Monday Night Raw’ or ‘Friday Night SmackDown’ as he once did, Mysterio consistently excites fans when he appears in AAA.

Corey Graves, who will be providing commentary for Triplemania, highlighted how AAA offers fans a different glimpse of Mysterio’s talent. He remarked that Mysterio, known as ‘Dirty Dom’ in AAA, has more liberty in expressing his wrestling persona, a freedom that AAA champions.

Graves elaborated on Mysterio’s adaptability, noting that wrestlers often find themselves revitalized and sometimes reinvented after participating in AAA. He mentioned Mysterio’s association with Judgment Day and acknowledged the difficulty in altering long-standing personas.

Graves also projected that the version of Mysterio seen in AAA would soon resonate within WWE’s main programs. He emphasized Mysterio’s complete package as a wrestler and his innate understanding and passion for the business, attributing this to his upbringing around wrestling.

Graves identified a significant difference in how Mexican fans respond to Mysterio compared to American fans, suggesting that the AAA environment brings out the best in him.
