Missouri plans to implement a new congressional map that benefits Republicans. However, the state Supreme Court could alter this plan soon.
Recently, a judge permitted the use of the map, which Republicans developed last year. This map was redrawn with the influence of former President Donald Trump. The aim was to secure an advantage in another district.
If used, Republicans could gain control of seven out of Missouri’s eight congressional seats. This redistricting decision remains under scrutiny as the state Supreme Court considers stepping in.
