OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney has reportedly reached a plea agreement in her second-degree murder case. This case involves the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli. Her attorneys confirmed this development to Fox News Digital.
The specifics of the plea agreement remain undisclosed. It will become official only if accepted by the court. Clenney’s lawyers from the Prieto Law Firm and Puglisi Carames Law have provided this information. The agreement is expected to be discussed in Miami-Dade County court on August 10.
Courtney Clenney faces charges of second-degree murder. Authorities allege she stabbed Christian Obumseli with a kitchen knife in Miami, Florida, on April 3, 2022. Her attorneys intend to hold further comments about the agreement until it is formally recorded in court.
Clenney, 30 years old, has been in custody since August 2022. This custody relates to Obumseli’s death in the Miami apartment she rented. According to her legal team, Clenney was in an abusive relationship, claiming she was a battered partner. Meanwhile, Obumseli’s family believes he suffered domestic violence.
Following her arrest, Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle described their relationship as “tempestuous and combative.” This relationship reportedly began in November 2020.
Clenney told investigators Obumseli pushed her and threw her to the floor. In response, she allegedly threw a knife, causing a chest wound three inches deep. Initially considered self-defense, the case required further investigation due to concerns from Obumseli’s family.
Police records indicate officers responded to an aggravated battery call at the Miami residence around 5 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Obumseli with a single stab wound to his torso.
In a February 2022 video recorded during a trip to Aspen, Colorado, Clenney appears to shout and strike Obumseli. The footage shows her blaming him for her drinking and accusing him of flirting with other women.
Clenney’s attorneys urge the public and media to allow the legal process to proceed without speculation. They refrained from commenting further until all court proceedings conclude.
