The offer highlights the RNC’s extensive resources, claiming it has a robust team equipped to support election procedures, delegate credentialing, and ballot-counting transparency. The letter underscores the irony of the situation, as the RNC notes, “We built this operation to protect elections from exactly this kind of chaos. We simply never expected the loudest cries for help to come from inside your own house.”
Republicans have faced criticism for questioning election integrity; however, this letter from the RNC aims to shift the scrutiny back onto the Democrats. The correspondence requests clarification on the Democrats’ election procedures, including voter identification and proof of residency, questioning whether these safeguards are part of the nominating convention.
