A new artwork has emerged that continues a series of works by a covert group of artists criticizing the president. This latest piece appeared on July 13, 2026, at approximately 3:37 p.m. EDT.
The installation includes a statue labeled as the “Iran War Participation Trophy.” It has been dedicated to President Donald Trump and was placed near the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial bookstore. The display caught the attention of several passersby.
Among those who encountered the statue was Gayl Staver, who was unsure of the piece’s intent when she found it on Monday morning on the National Mall. Standing at 10 feet tall and coated in a gold color, the statue made a striking visual statement amidst the historic setting.
