Carpentersville Rotary Blind Flights Fundraiser

The Carpentersville Rotary Club is hosting its Blind Flights beer tasting fundraiser. Join from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, at Carpenter Park, 275 Maple Ave., Carpentersville. Enjoy beer from nine local establishments and live music. Food will be available for purchase from No Manches and Duke’s Blues-N-BBQ. Benefit Concert for Anderson Humane

Celebrate the 60th anniversary of Anderson Humane with a benefit concert on Sunday, July 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the St. Charles Motorcycle Museum & Art Gallery, 1317 E. Main St., St. Charles. Performers include The Bare Hambones, Rishi Maze, Saturday Morning Punk Rock Club, and Little King Trashmouth. The event features raffles, a cash bar, and free museum admission. Fox River Trolley Museum ‘All Aboard Days’

The Fox River Trolley Museum is organizing ‘All Aboard Days’ for individuals with special needs on Sundays, July 12 and August 9, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum offers modified trolley rides designed to be sensory-friendly. Free Concert at Lords Park Zoo

Chamber Music on the Fox presents The Outset Trio in a free concert on Monday, July 13, from noon to 1 p.m. at Lords Park Zoo, 325 Hiawatha Drive, Elgin. The performance will feature music by composer Mark O’Connor, merging bluegrass, country, jazz, and classical genres. The trio features a violin, viola, and double bass. Seigle Foundation Announces Education Grants

The Seigle Foundation awarded $356,250 in education grants to 11 nonprofit organizations. The recipients include the Alignment Collaborative for Education, Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois, Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley, Elgin Public Museum, Enriching Partnerships for Early Learning, Farmworker and Landscaper Advocacy Project, Kids Above All Illinois, Summit School Inc., The Literacy Connection, Three Fires Council-Scouting America, and School District U-46 Educational Foundation. Theresa Forthofer, president and CEO of Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley, noted the significance of this support in bridging developmental gaps. AID Family Fun Event

The Association for Individual Development (AID) is hosting a family fun event on Friday, July 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Wildwood Commons Apartments, 695 S. State St., Elgin.
