Bon Jovi has announced an interactive component for his upcoming Forever tour, aiming to involve his fans directly. In a statement released on Instagram, he encouraged fans to contribute by recording themselves singing the well-loved hit, “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Select videos will be featured in the tour’s stage visuals.
In a video message, Bon Jovi stated, “We are in preproduction for the tour, and we’ve decided that we need you. Record yourself singing ‘Livin’ on a Prayer.’ We want you on the big screen. This is your chance to be a star. We’re happy to be back, looking forward to seeing you.”
“This song has always belonged to the fans and this is a celebration of the voices that have sung it across the world,” Bon Jovi’s website explains. “Sing the full song or just jump in on the chorus. We want to see your version.”
Fans interested in participating should submit their videos at BonJovi.com/livin-on-a-prayer by Friday, June 12. The website emphasizes individuality and creativity, inviting unique concepts and settings for the video entries.
This tour holds additional significance as it marks Bon Jovi’s return to the stage following his vocal cord surgery in 2022. The tour will commence at Madison Square Garden in New York on July 7, offering fans a renewed experience of the band.
